Privacy Policy
How we safely collect, protect, and process your confidential personal information.
At Therapy Unplugged, protecting your privacy and holding your personal information with absolute care is foundational to my practice. This policy outlines how your information is handled when you use the online inquiry form.
1. Information Collected via the Website
When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you explicitly fill out to evaluate clinical fit and schedule appointments:
- Identity Data: First & last name, pronouns.
- Contact Data: Email address, phone number, and country of residence.
- Session & Care Preferences: Preferred session language, age group verification, confirmation of private space access, and the specific service type chosen.
- Inquiry Details: Your voluntary message summarizing what brings you to therapy, along with how you heard about the site.
2. How Your Data is Processed
We minimize data processing to protect your security:
- No Database Storage: The details from your contact form submission are not saved to a public website database or stored permanently online by this framework.
- Secure Email Transmission: The submission uses the secure Web3Forms API endpoint, which converts your form entry data into an encrypted stream and safely forwards it directly to our private practice email address.
3. Purpose of Processing
Your data is processed exclusively to:
- Review your submission details to ensure we are a safe, appropriate clinical match for your needs.
- Get back to you via your preferred communication lines to coordinate a initial video consultation block.
4. Data Retention Pathways
- Non-Commencement: If we determine we are not a fit, or you choose not to proceed with scheduling care, your inquiry email and its associated data blocks will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Commencement of Care: If you enter therapeutic treatment with Therapy Unplugged, your basic intake details will be safely transferred into a confidential offline clinical record system following standard professional record-keeping ethics.
5. Third-Party Links
Our website contains direct link modules to external services (such as secure video conferencing environments or trusted payment interfaces). These external platforms operate under their own individual privacy policies, and we recommend reading their documentation directly when navigating to them.
6. Your Rights
Under global privacy standards and GDPR, you have the right to request a copy of the personal details we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate records, or ask for the removal of your contact details prior to starting therapy.
